She has played a pivotal role in establishing and overseeing training systems by implementing effective policies, standards and training programmes for various pre-opening hotels such as the Shangri-La’s Hotel Resort Spa in Oman, Traders in Dubai-UAE and in Chennai-India, and finally the Banyan Tree Al Wadi Desert & Banyan Tree Beach Resort in Ras Al Khaimah-UAE. Her dedication and expertise have ensured that each training department is equipped to deliver exceptional service from day one.

 

As Cluster Director of Human Resources and Training, these roles have given her a distinctive and invaluable operational insight into the adult learning, with a good understanding of the Gen X and Millennial global workforce.

 

Since returning to her hometown, Brinda now runs two thriving  businesses based in Kota Kinabalu.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Business from Queen Mary College – London University. Is a Certified Human Resources Manager by MIHRM and a Certified Facilitator of Skills for an Empowered Workforce from (DDI)- Development Dimensions International, USA. She also a Certified and Accredited Trainer by Malaysia’s HRD Corporation.
